McCain on Blagojevich

I already miss John McCain. He's a sincere, genuine man filled with integrity, and has a sharp, witty sense of humor. Enjoy this clip from the Late Show with David Letterman featuring McCain doing a Blagojevich imitation and also voicing his opinion of the corrupt governor.

The consequences of the Supreme Court declining to address the US Constitution’s “natural born citizen” clause on the morning of Monday 12/15/08 — thereafter enabling the College of Electors to transform the crisis from “law” to “political and Congressional”, leading to the ‘inauguration’ of Mr. Obama, are nothing less than catastrophic. Lawsuits by members of the military challenging his ‘commander in chief’ status are INEVITABLE. And a military takeover to oust the “usurper” may be inevitable as well. Where is the media? This is no “tin foil hat” joke.

Ted,

You can paint your tinfoil red, white and blue, but it doesn't change the brain inside.

Think Ted.. at which level will the military jump ship?
The privates?
Generals?
Joint Chief of Staff?

What do you think would happen if ANY level mutinied?

No Ted, what's happening here is fear.
You're scared.
I understand that.
But coupled along with your ignorance of how government works, this creates fantasy scenarios.
Lawsuits by commissioned officers is highly unlike and not anywhere close to "inevitable."
We've already had a president go into two countries not at war with us, kill innocent people, ruin their governments, prop up new governments, take people away and lock them up with no trials, wiretap the phones and.. yep.. no lawsuits.
Not even any notable ones regarding our constitution being trampled then.
Yet here comes a black man and you have fear.
It has nothing to do with the being a NBC.
It has everything to do with your fear of the unknown.
