Van Halen announces 2012 Tour with DLR

Van Halen publicists recently announced, through a video posted on their website, a 2012 major tour with original front man David Lee Roth but have failed to clear rumors of the new album that may be released on Interscope Records sometime early in the new year.  Van Halen last recorded with Roth in 1984 before his replacement by Sammy Haggar.  Original bassist Michael Anthony will not play in the new line up, which also includes Eddie's son Wolfgang, a member of the band since 2007, on bass.

Roth toured with the band briefly in 2007 and 2008 and it looks like this recent announcement serves to patch up the strife created more than 25 years ago.

No your dates have been announced as of now but will be shortly as tickets go on sale through Ticketmaster beginning January 10th.

If they are anywhere within 150 miles of Fort Myers, FL, you will find me there!

Enjoy this video from the official VH site announcing the tour.
